Autumn Winter Capsule Wardrobe
The capsule wardrobe concept has been in the media for some time now. But what is a capsule wardrobe? From what I have gathered key pieces in your wardrobe that you keep to a minimum or maximum and can interchange with existing pieces you already have. There are different takes on the capsule wardrobe. Some prefer to have seasonable good quality re-wearable pieces. Some use this idea to cut back on spending and to reduce waste.
While I’m still clearing out my closet, like many of you a lot of my clothes get buried to the back of the drawer or wardrobe never to be seen for months.
As I start to create my capsule wardrobe journey, I decide if I haven’t looked at or worn any of my clothes within six months of purchasing, it was time to donate and give them to a local charity.
There are some essential pieces in my wardrobe this autumn and winter, I can see I have been reaching out for time and time again recently. Jumpers, ankle boots, jacket/coats and slim fit trousers are style essentials that can easily be dressed up or down for many occasions.
On the next page, I have put together a few autumn/winter pieces that can work with any wardrobe. I like to layer my clothes and have added a simple black T from Top Shop under a chunky knit to add an extra layer of warmth.
