Dining in Style
NOTH Marketplace – Spitalfields Market – London.
Been realising, whenever I go out to eat (well almost every time) and I have a good photo angle and some decent lighting, I seem to be taking a lot of photos of tables and chairs.
Maybe subconsciously, I have been longing for a dining room that resembles the pages of Elle Decoration standards than a place to store your iron board in.
I am forever looking out for tables and chairs for ideas for my dining room, still no way near narrowing it down on how I want the dining room style to be like. Been pining for months on Pinterest and have some loose idea what colour and style features I want to have. If you follow me on Pinterest my ‘Dining in Style’ mood board, you can see a theme immerging. Looks like I am steering towards a Rustic, contemporary and modern style.A Parisian vibe at the Spring restaurant at Somerset House – London.
So until I narrow down my final dream interior design dining room, I have been taking more photos of tables and chairs whenever I get the opportunity.
Like most design inspirational mood boards, at least 80% of the ideas are actually used in the final design. Metal stools and white tiles and the Tom’s Kitchen Deli – Somerset House – LondonMulti colour and plywood is the theme at the Tate Liverpool’s café.
