A Pastel Paradise | The Bloggers Market

Shopping at The Camden Collective | London | 01/04/2017

Whilst searching for the next event on Eventbrite, I came across The Bloggers Market event.

Going to a blogger shopping event to shop is a great way to support other bloggers. As my main goal is to meet up with other bloggers. I now have a better understanding what events work best for me and which ones do not.

It’s nice to see collaborations that work and add value. Not only am I learning about blogging, I am interacting with interesting people along the way. When I arrived, many people already knew one another and had already made purchases. It clearly was a popular and established event. The Camden Collective venue was an ideal place.

The bloggers market pastel paradise reminded me of the Not on the High Street event open door at Spitalfields Market a mixture of social media activity, workshops and shopping. The decor had a very art and crafts feel which is very much the style of the organisers Kristabel, Olivia, Lucy, Carrie, Reem, Kim & ZoeAs I made my way around the room, there were the main area to shop, a tweet to eat bar area and further along at dedicated times workshops. From water marbling to how to create/start a bullet journal.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay for the workshops, but having workshops is a good way to interact with one another.

So if you fancy some workshops, meeting new people and donating to charity while you shop, then this could be the event for you.

Overall I had a good time at The Bloggers Market Event. For me personally, I would have preferred a more personal smaller networking experience.

What experiences have you had at similar blogger events? What advice would you give to someone going to an event like this for the first time?
