Pamper & Relax

Creating a relaxing pampering session at home

Who doesn’t like to pamper themselves every now and again? OK for those who do, lord knows we work long hours and if you have the time to relax enjoy an inexpensive pampering spa at home, we should.

I prefer having showers, but I must admit the allure of a warm aromatic soak in the bath, with some relaxing music is what is very much needed, after a hectic day/week.

Can’t do without a good moisturising body lotion. Been enjoying fig aroma the philosykos by Diptique which I talked about in The ‘Loving Right Now’ blog post. I have continued to enjoy this scent by purchasing and dousing myself in Fig Fiction by & Other Stories from their Bath and Body range.
pamper-relax-v7I especially like taking baths in the colder months, as I am one of those people who prefers the warmth of the summer. Here are a few of the products I have been trying out and use when I want a pamper, spa experience at home.

Bath Bombed

Need to get through my last year’s birthday gift of a box Lush bath bombs. So, what a better way to unwind by dropping a bath bomb into the bath.

Ultra Facial

A good way to keep your face supple ultra soft and hydrating is to get into a facial routine. Been a bit lazy when it comes to looking after my skin. As I am on a trying out products kick lately, I thought I would address this very issue.

As travelling can take a dry out the skin even on the daily, I grabbed at the airport in New York the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Collection. Which had the cleanser, toner, facial cream and bonus sample of the midnight recovery eye?

  • I’d have a pamper session at home all the time if I had a shower like that! 😀 I’ve been using recently purchased Lush goods to have a pamper too, love the Autumn range. Thanks for sharing your post, if I stayed in and had a pamper night more often you never know I might even save money!

Hi Jaz. Thank you for stopping by. I haven’t tried the Autumn range…yet lol. I love showers, but now it is getting colder, been enjoying my baths more and more; pampering nights in. What do you recommend from the Lush Autumn range for me to try out first?
