Pantone 15-0343 Colour of the Year 2017
Pantone have decided for the colour Greenery as their 2017 shade. They described it as “Greenery is a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew”.
Green is my favourite colour, so of course, I was delighted. I realised I have had the Pantone Greenery staring me in the face for a few years now, at least a similar shade of green I cherry picked from my Dulux colour swatches.
We have a strong connection with green, it symbolises new beginnings, spring time. So naturally, the design industry is incorporating the greenery theme in their designs and mood board ideas.

When incorporating shades of green in interior design, Instantly changes the space from being drab to becoming a paradise. Adding a few accent colours using fabrics and strategically placed plants and scatter cushions instantly makes you feel more at ease.
From bold to understated. From patterned to contemporary. The designers have always taken inspiration from colour, texture and shape.
Even if you are not a fan of this colour, I still think there is a greenery Pantone shade out there for you.
So do you think you will go greenery? How have you incorporated green your home and fashion?
