Elemis Event & Meetup with Lydia Millen
Elemis is one of those brands that you associate with luxury and those pamper sessions you get at a top hotel spa in central London. Going to a meetup event and being introduced to this brand was a nice intimate way of getting to know the products and being pampered for a couple of hours is also a bonus.
Lydia Millen beauty and fashion blogger and YouTuber who I met previously at the By Terry Masterclass with Space NK in September, invited a few of us to the House of Elemis in London to talk about her favourite products she swears by and uses regularly. One of Lydia’s go to cleansing balm which she uses to remove her makeup from the Elemis pro-collagen range caught my attention.
One thing that stood out and impressed me the most that the Elemis staff certainly know their products.
My friend and blogger Jasmin from ‘Just Lovely Little Things’ who loves skincare had an Elemis skin technology consultation which deep scans your skin to find out what products might help with your skin concerns. The Elemis staff explained to Jasmin what each product does, and their recommend products for her skin type.
A familiar face. Was great to chat with Lydia Millen once again about skincare and our fur babies (cats). As part of the evening, we were given a slotted time from a choice out of two treatments. A facial or a manicure. Typically, I went for the manicure. The nail polish and colour I choose was by OPI in the colour ‘Rich & Brazillian’.
Some Elemis goodies for me to try-out also great gift ideas for those who love skincare. After a few questions about my skin, it was recommended for my skin type to try the ‘Sparkle Beauty for Normal/Combination skin’ gift set.
I haven’t wanted to spend too much on skincare myself. Like any piece of clothing or product, your skin is like an investment to look after and make sure it’s well looked after.
There are some Elemis products that are more affordable, going to this event was a great opportunity to try/sample some of the skincare range on offer.
The best way to enter the House of Elemis is by trying out the gift box sets. An introduction to the brand without leaving too much of a dent in your wallet is the best way to start.
To the staff at Elemis and Lydia for hosting this event at the House of Elemis and the generosity and kindness you showed. I felt looked after and pampered.
