London Men’s Fashion Week – St James’s | London
It’s almost summer in the city and finally, the sun is shining. I was invited by St James’s London to the open-air menswear catwalk show at the weekend. So what a better way to spend it but outdoors in Jermyn St London.
Jermyn St is known for high-quality bespoke fashion and products since 1664. As well as apparel there are plenty of restaurants and events nearby too. So it was very appropriate for St James’s London to hold one of the men’s fashion shows there during London Men’s Fashion Week 2017.
The menswear collection consisted of a combination of light jackets, freshly pressed shirts, slim fitting shorts and trousers all within easy shopping reach on Jermyn Street.
Simple yet colourful pieces for either the everyday smart gentleman or the guy about town. Whatever style combination, you could easily envisage mixing or matching individual pieces to create a new or desired look. Accessories were practical and stylish: Leather brogues and trainers complimented dark and neutral tones.
What I liked about the St James’s London Fashion Show is that anyone can attend once you register online and I wish more fashion brands and the designer shows would do similar public shows like this.
What to expect
